The drand team is currently studying 3 different things that might be of interest to Filecoin:

• Migrating our drand mainnet to use the new “unchained randomness”, which streamlines verification and enables timelock encryption using the round number as public keys and the beacon’s signatures as decryption keys.
• Integrating Timelock as a FVM primitive.
• Swapping G1 and G2 on BLS12-381 for signatures and public keys, in order to halve the beacon’s signature size and have 30% gaz cost savings for verification.
