Goals

The main goal of v0.2 is to:

• Allow for any IPFS node to be able to subscribe to become a node in the network

Phases

Phase 0: Extend the protocol to support any IPFS nodes

Outcomes:

• A protocol where any node can register themselves as a node to be scanned
• A protocol where non-responding nodes are purged from our register
• A protocol for nodes to report what data they are planning to serve (e.g. via indexer nodes)

Phase 2: Support development of software for new auditors
